  4. 50% depositOnce you approve, a 50% deposit starts the full build.

FAQ

Do I pay anything for the quote or mockup?

No. The quote and one mockup (shown as screenshots) are free. You only pay a 50% deposit after you approve the layout.

What's an SOP and do I need one?

An SOP (standard operating procedure) is a written, step-by-step guide for how a task gets done, like receiving a delivery or packing an order. If steps change depending on who's working, new hires take a long time to learn, or mistakes keep repeating, SOPs help everyone do it the same way. I write them in plain language, with a flowchart and a 1-page reference card your team can keep at the station.

Do I need to be good at Excel?

No. Tools are built so anyone can use them: you fill in marked cells and pick from dropdowns, and the formulas are locked so nothing breaks. Each file has a Start Here sheet with simple steps, and I walk you through it at handoff.

Do I have to sketch the look of my sheet?

No. The look step in the free quote is optional. Press “Skip, let Randy decide” and I'll recommend one, or use “Skip the details” to just tell me what you need. If you do sketch it, it's a rough starting point to talk through. Every sheet is built to order after we talk.

Excel or Google Sheets?

Either. If you're not sure, I'll recommend one based on who uses it and where your data comes from.

Do I own the finished file?

Yes. Once paid in full, the workbook is yours.

What kinds of tools can you build?

Inventory trackers, ops and warehouse KPI dashboards, staff schedules, sales and order reports, budgets and expense trackers, project trackers, returns logs, and cleanups of existing spreadsheets. If it lives in a spreadsheet, ask.

What about my data?

Your data is used only for your project. Fake or trimmed sample data is fine for quoting, and an NDA is available.

What if something breaks after delivery?

Bugs found shortly after handoff are fixed at no charge. The exact window is in your quote.
