Randy

Hi, I'm Randy

I build Excel tools and write SOPs for small businesses. I still work full time in operations management, and this is my side business. Here's a little about where I come from, so you know who you'd be working with.

How I got here

I started at Amazon in 2014 as a temp worker in ICQA. That stands for inventory control and quality assurance, which mostly means making sure what the system says is on the shelf is actually on the shelf. After Amazon, I moved into warehouse and distribution management.

Running day-to-day distribution and building Excel reports to track order fill.

Why I care about making data easy

In every one of those roles there was a lot of data, and a lot of people who didn't understand it. The numbers were always updating, but there was no good way to digest them or turn them into something you could actually use.

That's what pushed me to start making data easier. Not fancier, just easier to read, easier to update, and easier to act on.

No degree, just reps

I don't have a college degree. Everything I know about spreadsheets and processes, I learned on the floor, plus a lot of Google searches and YouTube videos.

These days I also use AI tools to help me work faster. They're a tool, like a good formula. The know-how comes from years of working with real teams and real numbers.

Why I'm doing this

I know what it's like when the numbers finally make sense and you can see what's going on. I want to help you get that same impact without spending so much of your own time building it, so you and your team get time back on the floor, where it matters.

If that sounds useful, I'd be glad to hear what you're working on.
